Ticketing

Purchase your tickets in advance through Tickeri and save!

  • General Admission: $15 + service fees (online)

  • VIP Experience: $35 + service fees (online)

  • Children 12 and under: FREE admission

Tickets will also be available at the gate during the event:

  • General Admission: $20

  • VIP Experience: $35

We recommend purchasing online in advance to secure the best price and enjoy a faster entry experience.

Note: All ticket sales are final.

Food Prices

Most food and beverage items are priced between $5 and $20, depending on the vendor and menu selection.

Re-Entry

Yes! Re-entry is permitted throughout the day with your official festival wristband. Your wristband is valid for the day of admission only, allowing you to come and go as needed during festival hours. If you'd like to attend on both days, tickets for the second day can be purchased at the festival entrance.


Travel & Transportation

Getting to SUMAQ Peruvian Food Festival is easy!

 

Location:
Suffolk County Community College – Grant Campus
1 Campus Rd., Brentwood, NY 11717

By Air:
Long Island MacArthur Airport (ISP) is just minutes away from the festival grounds. For travelers coming from outside the region, John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) and LaGuardia Airport (LGA) are approximately 45–60 minutes away, depending on traffic.

By Train:
The festival is conveniently accessible via the Long Island Rail Road (LIRR). The Brentwood Station is located just a short drive from the venue, with taxi and rideshare services readily available.

By Bus:
Several Suffolk County Transit bus routes serve the Brentwood area, with stops located near the college campus.

By Car:
The venue offers ample FREE parking for festival attendees. The campus is easily accessible from major Long Island roadways, including the Long Island Expressway (I-495), Southern State Parkway, and Sagtikos Parkway.

Rideshare Services:
Uber, Lyft, and local taxi services operate throughout Suffolk County and provide convenient transportation directly to and from the festival.

​Food Vendors

All participating food vendors will be listed on our website prior to the festival. Please note that many vendors may accept cash only, so we recommend bringing cash for your convenience.

SUMAQ tokens are no longer used as a form of payment at the festival and are not eligible for refunds.

 

If you have any food allergies, sensitivities, or dietary restrictions, please speak directly with the food vendor before purchasing or consuming any food or beverage items. Vendors are responsible for providing ingredient information and helping guests make informed choices.

ATM Access

For your convenience, ATM machines will be available throughout the festival grounds. While many vendors accept credit and debit cards, some may only accept cash. We recommend bringing a variety of payment options to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience.

Takeout Options

Craving more of your favorite Peruvian dishes? No problem! Most food vendors offer takeout options, so you can enjoy your favorite Peruvian dishes at home. Feel free to bring your own reusable food containers (Tupperware) for added convenience and to help reduce waste. Availability may vary by vendor.

Eating Area

To help all guests enjoy the festival, seating in the dining area is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Tables and chairs are reserved for guests who are actively enjoying food and beverages purchased at the festival.

For added comfort, guests are welcome—and encouraged—to bring their own camping or folding chairs. Designated open seating areas will be available throughout the festival grounds.

Please note: Personal chairs must not block walkways, vendor areas, or emergency access routes.

 

Restrooms

Clean restroom facilities, including wheelchair-accessible restrooms, are conveniently located throughout the festival grounds. Handwashing stations are also available on-site to ensure a comfortable and sanitary experience for all guests.

 

Alcoholic Beverages

For the safety and enjoyment of all guests, outside alcoholic beverages are strictly prohibited at SUMAQ Peruvian Food Festival.

All bags, backpacks, coolers, and personal belongings are subject to inspection by festival security upon entry. Guests found bringing or possessing outside alcoholic beverages within the festival grounds may have the items confiscated and may be denied entry or removed from the event without refund.

Pets

For the safety and comfort of all guests, pets are not permitted at the festival.

Only service animals that are individually trained to perform specific work or tasks for a person with a disability, as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), are allowed on festival grounds. Emotional support animals, therapy animals and companion animals do not qualify as service animals under the ADA and are not permitted.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

 

Items Allowed

To help you enjoy your day at SUMAQ, guests are welcome to bring:

  • Folding chairs

  • Baby strollers

  • Cameras and video cameras

  • Small hand-held umbrellas

  • And, of course, a healthy appetite for delicious Peruvian food!

Please note: All items are subject to security inspection upon entry to the festival grounds. Enjoy the festival and make yourself at home! 🌞🇵🇪🍽️


Items Prohibited

To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all guests, the following items and activities are strictly prohibited on festival grounds:

  • Knives, firearms, weapons, or any dangerous objects

  • Illegal drugs, controlled substances, or drug paraphernalia

  • Pets and animals, except trained service animals as defined by applicable law

  • Smoking, vaping, or the use of tobacco products in non-designated areas

  • Any item deemed hazardous, disruptive, or unsafe by event staff or security personnel

Guests found in possession of prohibited items, or engaging in prohibited activities, may be denied entry or removed from the festival without refund. SUMAQ reserves the right to inspect bags and personal belongings and to refuse admission to anyone who may pose a safety risk to attendees, staff, or participants.


Weather

Rain or Shine Event: SUMAQ 2026 will take place as scheduled on August 8 & 9, 2026, rain or shine. All ticket sales are final; no refunds or exchanges will be issued due to weather conditions.

We encourage guests to check the local forecast before attending and dress appropriately for the weather. On sunny days, we recommend bringing sunscreen, sunglasses and a hat for added comfort.

Cleanliness

Help us keep SUMAQ clean, safe, and enjoyable for everyone by placing all trash and recyclables in the designated bins throughout the festival grounds. Your cooperation helps us create a better experience for all guests and protects our venue for future events.

Safety & Security

Your safety is our top priority. SUMAQ Peruvian Food Festival is committed to providing a safe, welcoming, and family-friendly environment for all guests. Trained event staff and security personnel will be present throughout the festival grounds to assist attendees and help ensure a secure experience.

If you need assistance, have a safety concern, or require immediate attention at any time during the event, please contact the nearest festival staff member or security officer. In the event of an emergency, notify festival personnel immediately so we can provide prompt assistance.

We appreciate your cooperation in helping us create a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.

 

Refund Policy

All ticket sales are final. Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable unless otherwise required by law.

SUMAQ Peruvian Food Festival, its organizers, producers, management, staff, sponsors, and affiliates reserve the right to refuse admission or remove any attendee whose behavior is deemed disruptive, disorderly, offensive, unsafe, or in violation of festival rules, venue policies, or applicable local, state, or federal laws. No refunds will be issued in such cases.

For the safety and security of all guests, attendees and their belongings may be subject to inspection upon entry. Prohibited items, including contraband, are not permitted on festival grounds.

By attending the festival, guests voluntarily assume all risks and dangers incidental to the event, whether occurring before, during, or after the festival, including but not limited to personal injury, property loss, theft, illness, accidents, weather-related conditions, or other unforeseen circumstances.

The festival will take place rain or shine. Tickets will not be refunded due to inclement weather, schedule changes, artist or vendor cancellations, or other circumstances beyond the control of festival organizers.

The resale or attempted resale of tickets by unauthorized individuals or vendors is strictly prohibited. Any ticket obtained through unauthorized channels may be voided without notice and without refund.
